One of five top scorers has earned straight 10A*s
Yew Chung International School (YCIS) of Hong Kong is delighted to announce outstanding achievements in this year’s International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) results amid disruption caused by the global pandemic coupled with fundamental changes made to the teaching and learning modes in the past two years. The School is pleased to see the hard work of both students and teachers have clearly paid off, with students rewarded with excellent exam results.
The School expresses its heartfelt congratulations to their Year 11 students for their IGCSE results, which were announced on 12 August. A total of 5 students received 10 A’s (A* and A). One student, Yiu Ho Lam, achieved straight 10A*s among these top-notch students. Another 18 students obtained 9 or more A* or A’s while other YCIS students also received encouraging results in the IGCSE exams.
Among the 100 students who registered for the exams, 89% were awarded a distinction or merit.
