But perhaps most important, Dr Matt Williams, the world's leading expert on the University of Oxford admissions,” said Nicholas Strong, the Head of CUGO. Through intellectually challenging and stimulating workshops, this diverse team will help students develop the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in university applications.

Our programme has an interdisciplinary approach and introduces you to the university study's distinctive environment and pedagogy. We also focus on building intellectual confidence and curiosity by exposing you to different university and learning environments. By the end of the programme, you will be equipped with the skills, knowledge, experience, and judgment to write compelling applications, perform well in interviews and multiple mini-interviews (MMls), and know how to make an excellent impression on admissions committees. Furthermore, you will have the unique opportunity to stay at the YCYW Somerset Cultural Centre in Knowle Hall, a historic manor house in the picturesque countryside.

The Somerset programme includes the following visits to a number of G5 and Russell Group universities sessions with admission staff from top UK universities, including the University of Oxford, offering one-to-one advice on personal statements and preparation for university interviews and appropriate cultural events designed to help students understand the UK education and culture,” he said
