We were beyond thrilled to welcome the Phoenix Suns to Yew Chung International School as part of their 2024 summer tour to Greater China!

Our YCIS students had the incredible opportunity to learn from the best — starting center Jusuf Nurkic, former Suns stars James Jones, Cedric Ceballos, Rex Chapman, and David Muoka, the first player from Hong Kong to play in the NBA G League. Through two dynamic youth basketball clinics and a powerful sharing session, over 70 local youth athletes not only mastered the fundamentals but also soaked up the energy and inspiration that these sports icons brought!

These moments went beyond the court — they’re about community building, empowering our students, and elevating the YCIS sports programmes to new heights. Let’s keep this momentum alive, YCIS!
